Contemplating a Move

I've been thinking about moving over to Homeschool Blogger for a while now. I have so many friends who have blogs there and I love the templates! Do you have any pros/cons about their blog hosting, and any tips or suggestions to make the move as smooth as possible, without losing my current content or comments? Can I use Haloscan comments over there as well? I will probably wait until the Homeschool Blog Awards are over, so that anyone checking out my blog won't have an extra click to get over there. TIA for the input!
